The theme was 'vintage aeroplane', styled with hessian, rustic colours and travel elements such as an antique globe and mini suitcases. Three giant, red balloons framed the table which gave the table a floaty, up and away feel.
One of my favourite details on this table was the personalised luggage tag food labels and circle decals from Spaceship & Laser Beams - just perfect.
Julius' talented mum, Sarah, from Vanilla Bean -Cake Design created his two tiered dark chocolate mud cake, topped with a very cute red bi-plane she modelled from icing.
Other sweet treats included plane and cloud vanilla butter cookies, strawberry jelly pots, Tim Tam cookie pops, candy popcorn cups and vanilla cupcakes. Glass lolly jars were filled with orange m&m's, apple jelly beans and raspberry and lemon bon bons. Little guests also sipped on apple and blackcurrant juice in recycled mini milk bottles.
It was so lovely to be involved in this special party - thank you Sarah and happy birthday Julius! I hope you had a wonderful time! x
